Privacy policy

This is the link page for K. Sen, at links.ksenstudio.com, published by Kuaru Studios LLC (“we”, “us”). It has no accounts, forms, or comments, and it never asks you for personal information. We count visits with Google Analytics. The page also loads a song cover and a video player from YouTube, as described below.

What we collect

Aggregate reports from Google Analytics: how many people visit, which pages are viewed, how far the page is scrolled, which links and videos are used, roughly where visitors are (country or city), what kind of device they use, and how they arrived, for example from Instagram or a search. We do not try to identify individual visitors, and we do not use Google’s advertising features, such as Google signals.

If you write to hello@ksenstudio.com, we receive your email address and your message, and use them only to reply.

Cookies and storage

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, to recognize the same browser across visits and group them into sessions, without knowing who you are. Google keeps event-level data for two months, and data tied to a cookie or user identifier for fourteen months after your last visit.

The page itself sets no cookies. It saves one small note in your browser’s session storage so a swipe hint shows once per visit. The note stays on your device and is gone when you close the tab.

What this page connects to, and why

• Cloudflare (cloudflare.com): hosts this site, so it handles every request to it, including your IP address, as any web host does.
• Google Analytics (google-analytics.com, googletagmanager.com): counts visits, as described above.
• YouTube (ytimg.com, youtube.com, youtube-nocookie.com): the song cover comes from YouTube’s image server. When you tap the record, the video plays in YouTube’s player in its privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube may show ads in it. This page uses YouTube API Services to control that player, and YouTube may collect data from it and store or read cookies or similar technology on your device, under Google’s privacy policy.

Third parties

These services handle your data under their own policies: Cloudflare and Google (Analytics and YouTube). Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services.

The buttons on this page lead to our store at ksenstudio.com (hosted by Gumroad, under Gumroad’s privacy policy), Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Substack, and YouTube. Once you follow one, that service’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.

When you play the video, Google may collect information about your activity over time and across other sites. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.

Your choices

You can stop Google Analytics from counting you by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing Google’s opt-out add-on. The page works the same either way.

We only look at aggregate reports, so there is no profile of you for us to export or erase. If you want the analytics data tied to your browser removed anyway, write to us and we will ask Google to delete it.

Children

This page is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
